And if I remember correctly, isn't the motto to put yourself first sometimes. Thank god her and her baby are ok. What would have happened if she would have gotten into an accident hurting her and her baby because she was so sleep deprived. At least she was thinking of her and her babies safety. Look at it from the other side of things. Calling CPS on her was the dumbest thing someone could have done. They have bigger things to worry about than that. I can sure as heck tell you about a family I know that got their kids taken away by CPS because they were being abused and neglected. 1.) We moved in with MIL for a little bit and it mad Jack's sleeping horrible. We were literally up every 30-40 mins and with us both working full time jobs it was killing us. So we gave him Benadryl for about a week to catch up on sleep

idk about ur pedi but mine wouldnt recommend a WEEK of benadryl for some sleep.... someone needs help here. whether it be the pedi or the mom.. good lorddd

And yes, it was drugging your child. No pedi would tell you to do that for a week straight. Sketchy ones might mentioned it for one day if you really need the sleep. But never for a week. And I'm sure she could have found a babysitter for a few hours while she slept, even if it's daytime.
