Newbie...Hi!

I posted this in 1st Trimester, but then I saw this category, so here goes again...

This Monday I found out I'm pregnant!  I was in complete shock, since I did not think this would happen without the assistance of some fertility help.  I am 31 years old and last year when I turned 30 FI and I decided I should go off the pill and leave things to chance.  For a whole year I didn't have a period, then this year I had three in a row, which is when I got pregnant. 

I have been dating my FI for 10 years...engaged for the past 2.5 years.  We are right in the process of planning our wedding.  I was actually due to receive the contract for our wedding venue Monday!  Now that there is a baby on the way, we've decided to down scale our wedding to a small, intimate destination wedding and then celebrate with a larger party after the baby is born around our original wedding date of April 23.

Primary care doctor confirmed I'm 7-8 weeks through blood test.  I have my first OB appointment July 30th.  I have been very nervous, so I think hearing the heart beat and seeing the sac in place will really put a lot of my worries to rest... I hope.

 I'm look forward to getting to know all of you over the next 8 months.
