Whole milk question

We just switched Tyler to whole milk which he loves.

My question is how much whole milk should he have and is there a way that he could have too much of it. He drinks right now about 24 ounces.

Also, (TMI) his poop his not dark like it used to be and is smushy. Is that within the norm after drinking formula for the last 9 monts?

We go for our 1 year check-up next week but was curious everyone's thoughts.

That is about how much DS drinks per day.  We were just at the pedi for a check up this week and she said that amount was fine.  You just don't want him drinking so much that he won't eat food.

E was a milkaholic. After confessing her massive milk addiction to the pedi, she said to limit her to 30oz a day and 24oz would be a better limit.

Poop changes all the time and never stops changing. If it's not white/almost white and not bloody and not hurting him, then it's good. My personal poo guidelines: Runny=bad, soft-serve=good, adult-like logs=good, pebbles=more fiber/less cheese/more veggies.

We haven't switched over yet... but I, too, have been told 16-24oz max for whole milk after the first birthday.
