37w3d and no NICU time. (I was in L&D in my 36th week and my OB really wanted to get me to 37w instead of letting me go at 36.)
married 03/08/08 -- ttc with PCOS (dx 2005) & DS
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
FWIW, my MFM told me yesterday that they are pushing to deliver all twins at 36 weeks. We didn't have time to discuss where he is gathering this info...but professionally (and personally) I am interested to know the rationale and studies behind it. I am delivering for my HTN otherwise I was planning on 37 weeks. That's the fascination with medicine....there is no black or white....it's all gray.

My MFM indicated something similar. I wonder if we had the same one, ERMommy? You're in Houston, right?
My OB scheduled me for 35w6d because of anaesthesia concerns (had to have a particular anesthesiologist there because of prior extensive spinal fusion, so didn't want to risk labor and general anesthesia since the twins were breech), and also because DD had stopped growing much and was borderline on her NSTs. Oh, and my BP was creeping up, and I was spilling trace protein. Fun!
DS was 7lbs and was in the NICU level II for 24 hours for grunting. He then roomed in.
DD was 5lbs 4oz and was in the NICU level II for 8 hours for observation since she was technically low birthweight. She then roomed in, too. But she was a crappy nurser, and I blame that on her slight prematurity.
I will say that my hospital considers any babies earlier than 37 weeks to be "late term preemies." Even though mine were literally FOUR HOURS shy of 37 weeks, they were considered to be premature. It was annoying because they ran blood tests that they wouldn't have needed otherwise and they kept trying to put them on special formula (higher calorie) for preemies -- but they were 6.9 and 7 lbs! My pedi ended up having to speak with the nurses because they kept changing their formula without consulting with me or the doctor-- which was making it more difficult for their little tummies to handle.
37 weeks exactly due to severe pre-e. I was hoping to make it to at least 38 weeks, but thankfully the twins were fine. No nicu or special care at all.
I do think Lily could absolutely have benefited from another week to cook however. I think she just was not quite ready.

Yeah, definitely let us know when you find out! That surprises me. What is HTN?
37 weeks, no NICU. My doctor wouldn't let me go any earlier than 37. My guys were 5 lbs 10 oz and 5 lbs 13 oz, so I'm glad we went as long as we did, even though it was grueling for me.
While I was ready earlier, I'm glad they stayed in as long as they did, even at 38 weeks they were only 6lbs 1oz and 5lbs 10oz, I think at 36 weeks they would have been so tiny.

Re: What week did you deliver/how much NICU time?
37 weeks and 1 week NICU.
Unless the pedi recommends it I would not suggest going under full term. I would have gone to 38, but there were possible placenta issues

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
This exactly - I'd also recommend not scheduling the c/s any earlier than 37 weeks.
37 weeks. Induced due to HUGE babies and wound up with emergency C/S
NO NICU time for us, though DS failed his carseat test 3 times and we had to use the carbed for just under a month. total PITA
I'll let you know in a week.

Scheduled at 37w 4d but only made it to 36w 4d because of pre-eclampsia. No NICU time.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!

26w3d, lost one twin after four days, and Hunter spent 119 days in the NICU (17weeks.)
FWIW, my MFM wanted to schedule a section at 36 weeks, but we didn't make it far enough for me to ask why not 37.
