If you refrigerate pump parts in between sessions...

...do you rinse them before/after you put them in the fridge, or just use them with the little bit of milk still in the parts? Just trying to cut down on the time it is taking me to pump at work...

  • I don't rinse them at work.  I just clean them at home every night.  I also leave as much of it together as possible, so I don't have to set up and take apart every time either.

  • I don't keep my parts in the refrigerater, I just put them back in my pump bag after rinsing them with warm water. I dry them off with a paper towel and leave them intact so next time I can just pop them on a bottle and plug them into the tubing. I wash them thoroughly in hot, soapy water when I get home from work and let them air dry.

  • I don't rinse, and like pp I keep it as put together as possible.
  • I don't rinse after everytime either, just pop the pump bottles in the fridge upright and then grab 'em for next time.
  • Just stick them in a ziploc even w/bottle on (but milk poured out) and put in frig!
  • I rinse all the parts in the sink at work and leave a drying rack in the bathroom...i try not to leave milk on the parts too long.
