Texas Babies

Due date TODAY.... and DD has chickenpox!

What timing!  40 weeks today and Sarah was confirmed to have chickenpox.

Thankfully, I have had chickenpox, so it isn't much of a concern for me and the baby, just a major pain since the pedi wants Sarah to stay home about a week until the spots crust over AND she can't touch the baby until after that.

Apparently Sarah is the 1 or 2 out of 10 that develops chickenpox even though she was previously vaccinated.   It does seem to be making for an ultra mild case so far since she hasn't had a fever, only has about 20 spots, and the bumps haven't really blistered yet.  As much as I am ready to have this baby, I am semi hoping he waits since at this point Sarah won't be able to go to the hospital at all, and that means Mark won't be there much either (especially since Sarah can't go to daycare). =(

On the bright side... tomorrow is my last day at work!  WOOT!

Depends on when he gets here!  It is a little easier to have people watch her on weekends than during the week when everyone is at work.  Not a big deal, just irksome. =P
