So this only added to today's bad mood earlier, but now it's kind of funny. I took my card out last night to get gas and put it in my pocket. This evening I ran out for something and figured I'd go get a few groceries while I was in town. I get my entire order scanned and bagged and realize I didn't put my card back in my wallet. The line is so long behind me, and I'm freaking out. The teenage cashier had to suspend it and take me up front. Since I couldn't call DH, I had to call my mother and get her card number to pay for everything. I don't get embarrassed easily but it was humiliating. Now, it's pretty funny, but I'm so glad today is almost over!

    Glad your mom was able to help you out. I have done that before, I also left my license in my pocket and not realize till I needed it.

    i have SO done that and then had to LEAVE.THE.STORE. 

    I've never felt like such a schmuck in all my life, lol.

    Oh no! That sucks! That is cool that they were able to take payment over the phone like that though. I never knew they could do that at stores.
