rash on face

It started as a hive on my check today or so i think it was a hive. I wasn't outside so i'm pretty sure i didn't get bit by anything. I put ice on it and when i took it off my face was a big red splotch. This happened at 11am today and it's still red now. Hot, itchy and red. Any thoughts?

Anytime i've had hives they go away within an hour...not so this time. I look horrible
