Anyone have a really awesome cheeseball recipe?

I want one that's kind of soft, and easily spreadable.

I'll be googling just in case no one has one.

  • The only cheese balls I've ever made were with Tastefully Simple mixes.  I don't even know if they make them anymore.  Sorry!

  • DH makes an awesome garlic cheeseball but he doesn't know the amounts. This is the best I can offer:

    1 block cream cheese

    some shredded cheddar (1-2 cups?)

garlic powder (however much tastes good to you?)

    bread crumbs

Mix the 1st 3 ingredients into a ball and then roll the ball in bread crumbs.

  • I've never heard of rolling it in breadcrumbs, that sounds good!

  • 8oz cream cheese
1 small can crushed pineapple (drained)
1/4 - 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
Garlic powder (I add it to taste)
1 cup chopped pecans - divided

1/4 cup pecans mixed in with cream cheese, use remaining to roll ball in.

Chill over night, or at least an hour.

I love this recipe.  Very spreadable after being out for 10 min or so.

  • 2 blocks of cream cheese, I use one fat free and the other low fat

    1 package of dried beef

    1 stock of green onions

    dash of Lawrey's seasoning salt

Cut the beef and onions up, mix all together.  Enjoy.  I make it with the low fat cream cheese and fat free because it makes it more spreadable.  Usually goes over really well whenever I take it places.

  • And now I need a cheeseball.  I need to stop opening food related posts because I want everything even though we just finished dinner.
