I just talked to her and she said that there is no way they could pay $1000, maybe $500, maybe. I think they were thinking closer to like $250 for labor, but I am not sure.

I would charge at least $500 more than the cost of supplies. I can't see how he can do it for less than the cost of supplies. And that is a lot of work so I would want to be able to get at least 500 extra if not the 1,000.
