bashful baby - anyone else?

Whenever Kai sees someone he really likes (Me, DH, MIL, mom, or daycare lady), he gives them a big smile and then buries his face into whoever is holding him's neck.  Its almost like he's shy or bashful.  Is this common?  Hes been doing this since he was 3 months.

If this is totally a normal infant thing, forgive me - Ive never been around a baby before!

My son does that to every single woman that pays attention to him. lol.

I think it is so cute when babies do this!  DS will do it every once in a while when I bring him to daycare, but usually if someone will give him attention he is going to ham it up for them.

My DD does this too.  She gets all excited and smiles, then burries her face in my neck.  I don't know if it means she's shy, or just really excited.  I think it's kind of cute though.

Brody does this too! I've only seen him to do for me, DH and our DCP (when he sees me come in the door). I think it's adorable

Mine does this too. I think it's so cute! He does it while looking at me when others hold him too so I don't think it's necessarily being shy, more like playing a game. Either way, adorable
