RE: the fast growing follicles...

Just curious--whats your experience with this.. I am guessing as an IVF peep. you have a lot....how did we end up with IVF experience? YUCK!

    Hey!  I know...it stinks that we have so much experience...I have to laugh though...sometimes I feel like I know more than my docs!

    I usually have a couple of follies that grow a bit faster than the others.  My RE usually disregards those follies and changes my med dosages based on where the rest of the group is.  So if there are 1 or 2 follies that are no longer viable by the time we have the retrieval that is fine...because we made sure that the rest of the group would be viable for retrieval.

    Yes.. Thanks.. This is great info!!!!  In my situation, those two big follies ovulated and messed it up for everything else. Now, that we know, we can disregard those big ones and focus on the other ones. Yes.. now we got a plan. This helps with my control freak tendencies. THANKS!!!
