Advice wanted!!

I need some input on when we should tell DS about this pregancy. He is 6 and would understand everything, I am just so nervous after losing his sisters at 26 weeks. I was thinking about telling him after my NT scan because I am already starting to show and don't think I can hide it that much longer. He even told me i am getting chubby! LOL!!

I don't have any advice, but I wanted to say congrats on your pregnancy.  Your name jumps out at me because I'm BAM too.  Hope the remaining 30 weeks go smoothly.  Good luck telling your DS!

 How funny, BAM is my initials. Good luck to you too, you are getting so close! I can't wait until I am that far along!

BAM is my initials too.  Is your birthday 2/19?  I'm a February birthday.

We told DS (who is 3 and didn't know about the other losses because he was quite young and they were early) the night before the NT scan and then brought him to the scan so he could see the baby.

It ended up being a great decision, but I spent a lot of hours being terrified something would be wrong at the NT scan and we would have caused him unnecessary pain.

Obviously there is no right answer here - just what you feel most comfortable about.

I found a good children's book and loss of a baby on Amazon - "Something Happened" - if that might help.
