He used to be a total mama's boy and would only want me.  He adores his sister, but will now go to everyone else in the house except me.  I don't get to spend a lot of time with him since DD feeds a lot during the day.  My mom, who follows the asian traditions, won't let me leave the house, so DH takes him on excursions alone during the day.  I miss my little cuddlebug

I know it stinks.  My DD was like that too, but don't worry DD2 is 6 months old now and all DD1 wants is me.  Once #2 gets a little older you'll get your time back w/ DD1.  GL

I feel the same way. DS only wants to come with me when he wants me to carry him (which I can't since I had a c-section). Today I had a little breakdown about it, but I am hoping it will pass like PP said.

I am glad to hear I am not the only Mama getting the shaft.  DD # 1 is all about Daddy, which is great, but she doesn't want me at all when he's around.  She tells him constantly that he is her best friend and if i ask her if i am her best friend, she says "No, your Reesie's (DD#2) best friend!"  I know I am being stupid, but it hurts a little.  It could be worse, I could have a husband that doesn't take up anytime with the kids and is cruel to them.  Damn double edge sword.
