How soon is too soon to stop PIO?

My dr. told me I could stop PIO today.  But it seems so early to me.  I know this has been asked before but would you please indulge me and tell me when you stopped PIO?

Not too soon - My RE told me to stop when he released me at 7.5 weeks.  Of course I knew better and begged to stay on it until I saw my OB at 9 weeks.  Both of them basically laughed at my glutton for punishment.

I had very high progesterone so I stopped at 6 weeks 3 days and the trips are still thriving.

I have to stay on it until 11.5 weeks.

Different REs have different protocols.  My RE's protocol was 10 weeks.  But if your progresterone levels are high enough, then I think you're fine.

I stopped at 10 weeks but my dr was kind of indifferent about when I stopped.  It felt a little arbitrary -- the date they chose.

I had to stay on till 12 weeks but it was b/c I had some bleeding.  My RE's normal is around 8 weeks.

I was on endometrin instead of PIO but they stopped me at 4w2d because my progesterone levels were off the charts.

Do you think this is different with ivf and fet since my ovaries weren't involved in the fet?
