check out ICAN. And go in armed with information, especially when you go into L&D. There are many good VBAC providers, but there are a heck of a lot of providers that claim they'll VBAC but jump to every intervention possible...and then mom ends up with another C/S.
I am. I'm going to make an appt to interview an OB that not only will do VBAC, but promotes it. His success rate is very high, and his primary c/s rate is also very low. I just hope I like him! (And I'll be driving an extra 15-20 minutes just to see him if we go there!)

I chose not to have one after talking with my dr. There are a number of reasons why it wasn't the best choice for me. If I were you, I'd research both sides and find the best provider available if thats the route you decide to go.
I will say that the recovery from a 2nd c/s (if you wind up having to have one) is far easier than the first. I was up and walking much sooner and did not have to rely on the prescription meds after I got home.
Mom to G 10.23.06, H 9.04.08 and a baby in heaven 10.07.10 (23w due to chromosome deletion)
I agree with erin1102 my first two births were c/s and the second I had toximia and was extremely sick and still recovered faster than my first one and I too did not use meds at home. This baby will also be a c/s since it's #3. Do your research and then make a choice you are comfortable with. Good luck!!
Re: VBAC? Did anyone have one or planning to?
Not me, but good luck!

I had a VBAC with Sam and it was great. My Dr wanted me to have an epi during labor but that was the only intervention I had.
I say as long as your Dr is willing to let you try you should be fine.
