DS was up all night last night and I am really dragging today. I made myself a half cup of coffee to give me a boost and now I just feel jittery and exhausted. I've never been able to drink coffee. Anyone else?
I love the smell, reminds me of my Grandparents. I can't drink it anymore since I kicked caffeine, it makes me shaky and sick to my stomach. It also reminds me of when I used to smoke, in college I consumed more coffee and cigarettes than anything else.
Me! And, I'm pretty sure if Seattle finds out, I'll get kicked out. I LOVE the smell but hate the taste. And, it bugs my tummy to no end. I veer towards all things tea. Mmmmm chai.
I always loved the smell, but as an adult, I hated the taste of it for years. Then, suddenly one day I wanted a cup of it and loved it. Now I am a daily coffee drinker. We only drink Starbucks. I buy the bagged coffee and make it at home. In fact, I'm drinking some as I type this. I can't imagine having survived the last year (when Ben began not STTN) without it.
I don't care much for hot coffee but in the summertime I do like iced coffee if it's got cream and sugar in it. Even better with a little French vanilla flavoring.
No coffee for me. DH drinks it, and while it smells good sometimes, others it makes me want to vomit. I don't drink pop, either, except on rare occassions. The only caffeine I get is from chocolate, and I'm sure I make up the difference there!
Yes. I really tried in college, when I routinely stayed up until 2 a.m. or later in architecture school, but it just made me feel like crap. The stimulants in chocolate are about all I can handle.
DH is a huge coffee snob, has literally over ten different kinds of coffee makers, freshly grinds his beans every morning, gets crazy imported stuff, and still I think it tastes terrible.

Love Love Love coffee as long as it has cream & sugar! Black coffee is way too bitter but once I get it all fixed up the way I like it it's sooo good! Excuse me as I go make a cup

ME!! If I even drink anything with caffeine in it after noon, I will not be able to sleep at night. I'm glad I don't like the taste of anything that has caffeine or I'd be in trouble.
The smell made me nauseous through-out my pregnancy and I've never had a desire to touch it since. Before pregnancy, I had never gotten into it as my parents didn't drink it and Starbuck's wasn't popular when I was in College.
Re: anyone else hate coffee?
i sheer SMELL of coffee makes me want to vomit. every since i was a little girl.
The only time i drink coffee is when i am in Europe- for some reason it tastes 100% different- it is not bitter at all.

If I need a caffeine jolt I rely on a can of pop.

In the winter, I like hot tea.
My year-round go-to for caffeine is Diet Coke.

Milk or water for me.
LOVE the smell of coffee but I cannot drink it! Even the chocolatey creamy drinks are just gross!
When I need a boost, I reach for the Mt. Dew!!
