sick behavior or normal?

DS has been acting fine but for the past week or so he has been lying down a lot, all over the house.  he will take a pillow off the couch, lie on the ground for like 3-5 min. then get up and start playing again.  he's been doing it on other random things also, like our beach bag that I left by the door, or a stuffed animal or the mat in his play area.

he's been getting plenty of sleep so I have no idea why he'd be extra tired. it's happening all day, not just at nap time either.  anyone else's LO do this?

My DD does this all the time. She loves the feeling of anything soft so anything she comes across (pillows, blankets, her fluffy mat) that is soft, she feels the need to lay on. I think it's just a sensory thing for her. She will lay for a minute or two and then be on her way again.
