Bob & Carseat Adapter

Does anyone have a Bob & carseat adapter?  How long did you use it?  And at what age can you put LO in the Bob with out the carseat?  I read 2 different ages on the instructions - 8 weeks, then 8 months for jogging and "off roading"...  I'm assuming the 8 weeks is more for just walking.

I have a Bob revolution and the carseat adapter.  I think we used the carseat in the stroller for about 6 months.  We actually still have the adapter attached without the carseat, though, because Brady likes to prop his feet up there and we attach toys to it.  We have the snack tray that attaches to it but haven't used that yet.

Bailey was out of his infant seat at 8 weeks old so he was in the BOB after that. I just rolled up blankets to put on either side of his head and under his butt then reclined the seat all the way. He was fine like that.

Adam hated riding in the infant seat, so I leaned the seat back in the Bob and let him ride at about 6 weeks.  I actually think the money I spent on the car seat adapter was a total waste.  You can put the snack tray on it, but it was way to high for Adam to reach and he is pretty tall.

Same here. I started jogging (rather slogging) with DD around 8 weeks using it.

That.Just.Happened

My bff has the Bob and her son didn't like riding in it until close to 1 year.  The harness is kinda big and didn't position him correctly so he would always slide down and then be really uncomfortable.  So I am guessing you would use the adapter for at least the first 6 months.
