Pregnant after a Loss

Chicco Colors Suck - Random, Sorry!

Can I just be totally lame right now and complain about Chicco and their color options?  I really like them as a company and feel that their Keyfit 30 system is really nice.  My husband and I will go with them because we feel very comfortable with the safety ratings and consumer reports.  BUT.....we are annoyed that they really don't have any colors that are fun.  You have really bright flaming red (cute, but LOUD...the Fuego!) or you have the weird yellow polka dots (Miro).  Or you go the exact opposite direction and get the Romantic which is just plain gray.  Can't they come up with something in between?!  Rant over.  I know that was totally lame but it's Monday.  :)

  • I think they are coming out with a kiwi green color this month or so their website says.  We went with the orange colored one, mainly because the stroller is orange.

  • I totally agree.  We went with the yellow polka dots, but have only seen it online.  I hope it's not too horrendous when we actually see it!

  • We are getting Adventure, which is still plain but has green accents.  Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl?  Chic is cute for a girl and there's Coventry which is very boyish.  I've also seen Luna which is cute and can go either way.
  • I agree! I wanted the blue with orange, but it was more expensive than the other colors for some reason.  We went with the luna... which I don't love, but it was given to us.

  • We went with the "Cubes" set, which is black and grey....I really like it and figure we can add color through toys and blankets.

  • We got the Adventure, as well - a nice sage and tan combo.

  • We're having a girl and we want this travel system to last for the next kids too since it's so darn expensive.  So we are trying to stick gender-neutral.  And we really want the Keyfit 30 since it will last longer as she gets heavier.  I have friends who bought the regular Keyfit for children up to 22 pounds and they all say they regret not getting the 30.....unfortunately the 30 is pretty much non-existent at Babies R Us and is only online through Chicco.  Not to mention that the colors for the 30 are not so cute.  I love the Cubes or the Luna but they aren't for the Keyfit 30.  Oh well, there are worse things to fret over!  :)
