someone just asked me if I was "expecting!"

DH and I just went to look at a new daycare center and the owner asked me if I was "expecting again".....ummmm, no, I just had a baby 2 months ago so I have a bit of a pooch.

Please tell me this woman is crazy and it's okay if I still look a bit pregnant! DH and I are laughing about it now.

A waitress at a restaurant asked me that 2 weeks after having my DS.  I told her no I just had a baby 2 weeks ago & she had nothing to say.

I feel your pain! a month after DD was born a woman in the waiting room of my OB's office asked me how "far along" i was. -4 weeks, lol.

People suck.

I was in line at the gap a couple weeks ago WITH my baby. The gal behind me was asking how old he was, etc. Then she hem-hawed around a bit and asked "so, are you...again...?"

ahaha 2 weeks after i had my son i was in the store and some lady turns to me and goes OH HOW CUTE YOU'RE PREGNANT!... i was like umm no i just had a baby 2 weeks ago.. why do strangers feel the need to make comments? so rude!

I went to BRU a couple days after DD was born and the girl checking us out (who really was very sweet) asked "so when is your baby due?"  I lifted the umbrella on the carseat and said with a smile "two days ago".  She apologized right away of course but the whole thing made me laugh.  But trust me things do get better as time goes on and your body goes back to normal, it just takes a while.
