Outing suggestions for an 8 month old?

This weekend my BF's family and I will be taking his nephew out for the day. We wanted to do a fun outing for him. He's been to the Aquarium, and wasn't interested in anything except the otters and people watching, LOL. Any suggestions for something fun to do with a baby? Thanks!

    We love going to the Yellow River Game Ranch on 78 and I think we went for the first time when Emma was around 8 months, if not younger.  MUCH better than the zoo because the animals are so close.  It continues to be one of our favorite places to go.

    Zoo.  We have been taking L since she was around 5 months.  She loves it.
