What do you think of the name Shay or Shae.  I've seen it used for both boys and girls.  Do you know anyone with this name?

I have a girlfriend named Shay.  Never known a boy/man with this name.  I have known a guy named Shayne though.

I can't stand this name, but I think it is definitely a girl name.

As pp mentioned, I only know guys named Shane/Shayne, never Shae/Shay. I don't personally know any girls with the name.
