Does anyone have a fantastic cupcake recipe they could share with me?? I have to bake a bunch for a fundraiser on Sunday and would love a tried and true recipe!! Thanks!!
This is a recipe that my family has made for years...they are FABULOUS!!
Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes
1 pkg 2 layer size chocolate cake mix
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
dash of salt
1 six oz pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
Make the cake mix according to the pkg directions. Fill paper baking cups in a muffin pan 2/3 full. Cream the sugar and cream cheese, then beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop one rounded teaspoon of cheese mixture onto each cupcake. Bake as directied on cake mix box. Makes approx 30 depending on the cake mix.
Are you hoping to make it from scratch? I've made this combination no fewer than 25 times, without fail!
This is my no fail, go-to chocolate cake or cupcake recipe. It is so easy and makes for a perfect and super moist chocolate cake. Beware that the batter will seem very runny after you add the boiling water -- it is totally normal!
The choclate frosting that goes along with the recipe above is great, but I prefer to make my own vanilla buttercream. Here is my favorite recipe!
