I've never ever used stainless pots and pans. I've only ever had non-stick ones. Is stainless better to cook with (i LOVE to cook)? What/why is there a learning curve? Does food taste better with stainless?
There is a learning curve because stainless burns much easier. But I think food does taste better because you can saute things better...like get them just a little bit brown/crisp.
It's also better for certain sauces where you can kind of deglaze the pan.
