So happy to be home

This week has just sucked. I had to travel for work and I was so tired and cranky all week. Then I didn't get in on time last night so Gavin was already asleep and I was so sad not to get my hugs in. But this morning was AWESOME. He woke up calling for me and when I came in his room he got so excited- like he didn't really expect me to come and he got the best surprise ever. So many hugs and kisses and he immediately started talking up a storm like he had so much to tell me. I'm just so happy to be home again. It's nice to get away from time to time and I know it is really good for all of us, but man, it is also so nice to come back home!

What an awesome welcome home you had! You're making me feel better about having to travel for work. Next week will be my first trip since having Marlowe and I'm not looking forward to it. It's only 2 nights but I know I'm going to miss her like crazy. Thanks for posting this!

I am rarely ever without Evie, but when I do get out and I come home and she jumps up and down squealing "mommy!" its the best thing ever to come home to.
