I have a spreadsheet with sizes of clothes I've bought and what I think I need.
Jackson was in 0-3m for 6ish weeks (born at 41w2d), and then wore 3-6m until January/Feb.
I've been buying more 3-6 stuff just based on that, but do you think I should even it up with some 0-3?
Currently, I'm on the naartjie site...:)

Exactly, femme. EXACTLY. LOL.
Ok, what color should I buy this in:

Most of their stuff is super soft cotton and comfy, so I like that it's a little different but still comfy for a newborn.
I agree with Femme.
If you need a break from shopping for kiddo clothes, see my post below about needing jewelry for a wedding outfit.
I really like the grey. I got sooooo much pink and purple for DD as gifts, I tried to stock up in other colors....plus then you can put any color hair dealybob on her head you want :-)
That's what I was leaning towards, camrude!
I've been trying to avoid too much pink, but in the meantime I feel like we've got a lot of purple too. Of course I did go nuts on boden fall which is all different colors, thankfully.
77 Kids has baby stuff now:

I was kind of underwhelmed, but I could buy a couple of things
No Sugar Added has some CUUUUTE stuff:

And, I am really loving some of the Baby Nay stuff:

ooo breezee you are dangerous!!!
I've been looking for some cute sleepers, actually - 77kids has some I like. And well the others, I don't need anything, but I LOVE THEM!
I am all about boutique stuff, breezee! It's so cute.
This site always has good options:

ooo super cute! I love Oilily!
This is great store, too:

As a side note, I think that I am the only person in the world that doesn't care for Naartjie.
hahahaha! I only really like it for babies, because it's a little different but still cotton-y/comfy. Jackson has a few things from there for summer from a few years ago - all surfer type stuff.
It's hard to buy for babies I think because some stuff is just too fussy, you know?
Also - I am pretty sure next year, I will be buying so much deux par deux I will be divorced in .5 seconds. I'm literally squeeing over what I just looked at for fall this year (of course it's 18m and up).
CNY - I neeeeeeeed a spreadsheet. Otherwise I'd end up with a sh*tload of clothes in one size. Or all the same things. I'd just buy buy buy.
Deux Par Deux is beyond cute. Plus, it's all so soft looking. I think that I can finally justify boutique clothing to MH. He said, "well, at least now she walks, so you get the full effect of the outfit. When they are small and the clothing is all bunched up on them, you cannot tell that was a $60 shirt."
HA!
exactly!
It's so much harder to justify when you really can't get the full effect of the outfit - I even have a hard time w/ it! LOL.
LOL. That's totally something I would do.
Annalise was in 0-3m size for 2 months (June-July) and then 3-6m size for 2 months (Aug-Sept). She never really wore much NB. She might have fit into it for 2 weeks, but she was pretty long too.
Since Charlotte will be 2 days late instead of 10 days I figure she'll be 1 lb less, so I have some more NB and then all of A's old 0-3m clothes washed. That should get us through Sept, maybe Oct. The only thing I've really bought this time is a few NB outfits and some fall/winter clothes in 3-6m.
How much do you have in 0-3m? I tend to overbuy so I have to do laundry less often.

Sleepers/gowns in 0-3 mo. are what both DC lived in. As cute as all of the itsy bitsy dresses were, they just weren't practical for a newborn, therefore, they never got worn. DD lived in Kissy Kissy and Petit Ami the first few months of her life. Dressed to sleep because that's all she did. And puked. Puked like it was her job.
Oh, and although DD was almost EXactly the same size at birth (1 oz. less than DS), she was just petite and didn't always wear bigger sizes as soon as DS did. So, smaller sized stuff is good to have on hand.
TEA COLLECTION!!!!
Do yourself a favor and hit up the spring sale. You can layer with a white long sleeve under!
GHM, I did buy some newborn stuff this time around because I know even Jackson, the beast, could wear it for 1-2 weeks. I figured since Scarlett will be born at least 1.5w before he was and has already been slightly behind his size based on u/s that we might need some nb stuff just based on that alone.
Tea Collection is a great suggestion, pin! And Bellisimo, my spreadsheet has a spot for 10-12 sleep gowns, haha. I have 3-5 already.
I hate doing laundry, so I did kind of overbuy with that intent.
And I just satisfied my shopping urge by going crazy at the Nordstrom anniversary sale online. Hello new boots for mama!
