Toy storage

Anyone have any ideas for storing toys in a 1.5 year old boy's room?  No plastic, and I'd like to keep it as accessible to him as possible...  any thoughts?

I'm doing cloth storage bins on the floor for my ds. They might not be super stylish but he can't hurt himself and they're accessable.

We use baskets.  They're low to the ground but our large one holds a ton!

Those cloth "drawers" would work too.

Not in the bedroom, but in our living room we use wooden bookshelves that they were getting rid of at DH's work.  They're actually kind of tall, but with adjustable shelves.  We use the bottom 6 shelves (3-2 wide) for their regular toys (and have them adjusted slightly lower...just put the tall stuff on the 3rd shelf up) and the top shelves for coloring books, puzzles, remote control cars, and a few other things that we don't want them to have unlimited access too for one reason or another.  And the bonus, the very top of the shelf is great for plants, and that's actually where we keep our vitamins so that they're still visible, but far out of reach.

So I guess I'm suggesting looking for some wooden bookshelves (new or used, but obviously used would be more EFF) and keep in mind that shelves out of reach can be handy!

we have this in our "play room/eventual day care room" for Addison w/ multi colored cloth bins. I LOVE it!!!
