Hey! Yes, that was me who lost her ring and no I haven't found it. 
It still upsets me when I think about it, but I haven't lost hope that it will turn up someday. I blame it all on pregnancy/new baby brain (which I still have!).
Funny story about losing & finding things. I lost my nice watch, which was a gift from DH and I loved, when DD was about 6 weeks old. This was after I lost my ring, and I couldn't believe I lost something else important to me! Anyway, last weekend I went to get a pedi and the nail salon owner came up to me and asked me if I lost a watch a while ago. I got so excited and said yes! I hadn't been to this nail salon since my 6 week pp check up! My Mom was in town so she watched DD while I went to my dr appt and then got a mani/pedi. He had been holding on to my watch for 8.5 months, and he remembered my face but I hadn't been in since then. Isn't that awesome? I already liked that salon, but now I love it!

Great story!! What a fantastic nail salon!! That is why you should definitely still hold out hope in finding your ring. I misplace things ALL the time, it drives me crazy, my DH is so used to it, he never gets mad at me, just asks me questions to help spark my memory as to when I last had the item. I told you I misplaced my diamond earrings in June of 09 only to find them right before you posted about losing your ring. I put them in what I thought was a safe place, but one I never remembered, until one day by accident I found them. You're going to post one day about finding it, I just know it!!!
Do you live right in Vegas? My BIL lives in Henderson and we have been going every other year to visit. This year was our year, but we are going to post-pone it till next with the babies.
You must have been sooo happy to find your earrings. I really hope I find my ring some day. That would be such a great day!
Actually I live in Henderson too, but we are trying to move home to San Diego. I don't know when that will happen though, so we might be here a while. We should have a GTG next time you come out if we still live here!
