Doppler question

So do any of you think 15 weeks is too late to get a doppler?  I have been thinking about getting one for a while, but as I posted a min ago I just heard the HB for the first time, and while DH got to hear a recording I think he would like to hear it for himself too..... any thoughts??

No way never too late. I got mine for $30 so I don't feel that really made a dent and was worth the minimal use.

When I was pregnant with DD I got a doppler when I was close to 20 weeks.  I had an anterior placenta and was overweight, so it was difficult to feel movements.  It was very reassuring.  I rented mine monthly, though, so I only had it for 4 months.  Toward the end she was big enough and kicking/moving hard enough that I didn't need the reassurance.  Go for it if you want one!

Nope, I plan on keeping mine for another month since it's a rental and then maybe buying one of the cheaper ones for the rest of the pregnancy just to have.

I don't think it's too late at all.  I am considering getting one too, but haven't decided yet.

I waited and waited to order mine and it just arrived Monday afternoon.  I don't think it's too late.  I have an anterior placenta, so I figure it will help ease my mind since it might be awhile before I feel any flutters/movement.

I think week 38 might be a little late! Just joking! I think whenever you get it is fine as you'll be able to listen to the HB everyday if you wanted to. I think I'd be too obsessed with it so we decided not to get one.
