PBK drop side cribs recall

There's a phone number to call to get the conversion kit to make it a fixed gate. 

i just called and they were giving me a hard time because I didn't have the order number (it was a gift 2 years ago!) but they may be able to send it out to me.  I'm wondering how safe that makes it, though... hm...

    IDK, but another bumpie was complaining b/c her crib's manufacture was going to take 4-6 weeks to ship the conversion kit to her.  Maybe PBK is better about the timing, but I wouldn't want to use the crib another day!

    there's is a voluntary recall, though... but they did say it would take 7-10 days.  ugh, with her trying to climb out the other day and now this, i think it's a sign!

    oh, and i'll still keep the conversion kit so I can give it to my sister or cousin if they ever have kids :)

    I know it might be early, but maybe it's best to convert it to a toddler bed and just put a side rail.
