Success after IF

may as well have twins with this laundry!

...and yes, twin mamas, I know that I really don't know the half of it :)

As sad as we are to be gearing up to leave our current day care (to move Sam to DC on site at my job - yay!), one thing I am looking forward to is the return of one outfit per day.

Ever since Sam's two teachers left and new ones arrived, he goes through 2-3 changes of clothes per day.  With the other teachers it was maybe 1-2 times a week. At first I thought it was the cloth diapers, but nope, it's the same thing for all of the other kids.  Is it possible that all four boys in his room (the one girl is out right now) soil multiple outfits per day - and that this happened to coincide with the change of teachers?

I mean, it's fine and all, but it's one more thing to worry about in the morning.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the eff is going on there right now - Sam naps incredibly well during the weekends and always napped at DC well until the teacher change. Now, not so much, which means a very sleepy boy by the end of the day.

Anyway it's all going to get switched up next week - I just hope his new teachers have better luck!

  • I hate to ask this because I don't want to make you worry needlessly, but is it possible the new teacher isn't changing them often enough?  That just seems weird...And is this just wet clothes, or poop?  If it's wet, maybe she doesn't know to tuck the weiner?  Could it be that stupid?

Oh no -she is changing five-six times in 9 hours, and I have the log and the dirty dipes to proove it :)  With today being the exception, it is wet clothes and not poop.  I thought perhaps she was not tucking the diaper into the cover well, but this happens even when I send all-in-one diapers AND it happens to the kids in sposies.  Honestly I think she doesn't put them on correctly (not tight enough).  I've mentioned it but we are leaving anyway :)

Oh, and yes - she probably doesn't tuck his penis down - I should mention that to her.

Well then I'm out of ideas on what's going on.  But at least that's good that you know it's not that he's being neglected in any way.  Poor Sam.  It's good you're leaving.  I'm sure he'll love being right near you!
