Middle name for Eleanor?

With less than a week to go, DH and I still can't decide on a name for either a boy or girl.

Eleanor (probably nn Nell) is high on the girl name list. But, I am stuck for a middle name. There's no family names we really like. Our surname starts with C.

Opinions, please!

I can see why you're having trouble! There were many names that just didn't seem to sound right with Eleanor when I was trying to make that list.

This board is wonderful - thanks ladies! I was struggling with a middle name but some of these are great. Hazel is an excellent option - I will run it past DH and see how I go.

If we ever have a DD, we are going with Eleanor Kate. Would have done Eleanor Kathryn, but Kathryn sounds weird with our last name.

I am quite fond of Eleanor Kate but it does not sound great with our hard "c" surname. But a shorter middle name works well!

Paige is the MN that cames to mind. My Cabbage Patch doll when I was little came with a birth certificate, and her name was Eleanor Paige. I actually really like those names together!
