getting them to uncurl toes to put shoes on?

is there a trick to this? I just wrestled w/ DS for like 5 min trying to get his shoes on b/c he was curling his toes & I couldn't get them on far enough.

If you tap the bottom of his foot (like where his arch is), it might do the trick.  Works for my DS!

i gently press the ball of the foot or arch till i feel his toes uncurl

I used to work in a shoe store, this is how they taught us to do it.

Hold the baby in your lap, put the shoe across the top of his toes, like a T, then slide it down his foot.
