NTTCALR: Reed Diffusers

I love the Yankee Candle reed diffuser oils, as I feel you can actually smell them when you walk into a room. I've had reed diffusers from Wal-Mart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Pier One, and have not been as happy with them.

I just went on to the Yankee Candle website, and I can't find the refills anymore! They have already-made sets with the container, reeds, and oil, but once you're done with that, you have to go all new again.

If you use reed diffusers, where did you get yours from? Would you recommend it?

I bought one at Pier 1 and I like it. I don't if it's super powerful, but one thing I do is flip the reeds over every so often to get the scent going again.

This. And the ones at Pier One are reasonable. Sometimes you can even find sales on them.

I received a really nice one from Pottery Barn once but I"m not sure how much it was

On another note, I bought this thing at WalMart that is apparently a Scentsy knockoff - it looks like a jar with a lightbulb in it and you put these wax cubes on top and it melts them, it smells AWESOME. I really typically hate air freshener type smells, and this one doesn't smell like that at all. It's like a super strong candle but it only takes a few mins to warm up. THere were tons of different scents - I got pineapple cilantro, zen, one called wild thing, and a vanilla. The scent is really strong for a few minutes, you can set the bulb on a timer so it goes off one time a day or whatever. I can't find the link to it on walmart.com but i found it near the craft section... i can't speak enough of that thing, i love it!! also the cubes - you only use 1 cube at a time and I think there's 8 per pack for $2, i've used the same cube now 10 times and it still smells. I think 4 packs will last me years. Someimte I'll try the yankee tarts in it, I love yankee stuff!
