Re: Local baby names, German edition.

  • I really like a lot of these :) Amelie, Thea, Vanessa, Anna Sophie, Benjamin, Johan Elias, Noah Gabriel...

I didn't know double names were so popular in Germany! (I used to live there)

  • Mole made me lol.  My name is Molly and sometimes people call me that as a JOKE.

Stivi-Lou - is that like Stevie?

Also interesting - 2 Ida's.  I didn't know that was making a comeback (from 1900)  Overall, though, I like many of those names.

  • Loooove Thea.
    Anneliese Olive 11/5/09
    Hazel Dianna 1/8/11
    Luna Valentine 4/25/13

  • This is so cool - thanks for posting! I guess it's easy to see that some names are popular no matter where you are. I love seeing some of the more unusual names (well unusual for America).
