My DH is not getting too excited becuase the line on 3 HPTs are faint. I even rad him the directions that said the line might be lighter than the control line.
Yes, a line is a line. Congrats! My husband reacted the same way. Take another test tomorrow with FMU "First Morning Urine" and the line may be even darker.
The same thing happened with me and DH so the next day I bought a digital, he couldn't deny the word YES+, I bought the yes/no kind. Good luck and a H&H 9 months to you.
Yes, a line is a line. Mine was very, very faint both on the stick and at the doctor's office. I took a test a few days later and the dark line appeared almost immediately. Congrats!

I had a very faint + at 12 DPO. Today is 18 DPO and the test line is darker than the control. It will get darker but if you have a line you are pregnant. Congrats!
My DH did the same thing. I took the test at 5am one morning and saw a faint line. I was so excited, but worried that my eyes were playing tricks on me so I woke him up to see if he saw a line too. He said that it was very faint so he wasn't getting excited. On my way back from work that day I bought a digital test that told me "YES+" or "NO-" and it was "YES+". I left it out on the counter top for him to see when he got in from work. He was excited then!
Re: a line is a line is a line, right?
Try a digital. When it says "pregnant" he should believe it!
Mine were faint the first few days too!
GL!
BTW, my DH still says, its in my head and he doesn't believe it until the doc says it. He is kidding of course.
ETA: I took 3 in one day (throughout the day) to prove it to him. The digital, I took in the evening after he got off of work. 10DPO
