What is snail trail?

I saw a post that mentioned this phenomenon and it scared me. I have been secretly holding onto this fear for weeks now. I NEED to know! What is a snail trail???

LOL!!  Many women have an excess of cervical mucus during pregnancy, especially in the 1st and 3rd trimesters - I believe it was Jenny Mcarthy that named it the "snail trail."

I've read of two different things, so I'm not sure which is the real thing.

1. the hair that will grow on men and women from their belly button down to their genitals.  Also called a Happy Trail.

2. When a women's vagina excretes lubricant to the point that it will leave a "trail" on what ever the women is sitting on, ie, betting, chairs, lover, ext.

I figured it was the increased secretions down there! OMG the other night I wiped and there was like a little ball of mucus. I almost gagged and I am a nurse!!! I just so did not see this coming!

OMG. LOL.
I  haven't heard this term before either.
And after reading what this term defines, it makes alot of sence!
But still, what a gross name !!! haha
