My sister-in-law loaned us her spare laptop, it's the only reason I'm online.
Vivian Claire, 10:32 am on 7/12/10. She's 9lbs 11 oz, and 20.5 inches long. Doctor also commented on how huge her shoulders are. She's not fat, just big and solid.
Unfortunately, c-section wasn't kind to her so she's in the NICU for respiratory irregularities and had glucose incident earlier today, so hopefully she'll get to be with us starting tomorrow. The charge nurse down there has already told us she's going to advocate for it, since she's honestly the healthiest baby down there.
I'm doing ok but I think I overdid it today and now I'm super sore. We've been trying to make it down every three hours to get a chance to try and nurse, but we're having to supplement too which bums me out. I didn't get to see her except right after she was born for a good 16 hours and did a lot of whining since everyone else got to go down.
Pictures later, since this network is a bit temperamental and I don't trust it grabbing photos off the camera.
Re: She's here!
Congrats! I hope she has a short nicu stay.

Congratulations on your long awaited daughter! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see pictures of Vivian. Hopefully she'll be with you in no time. And if you're worried about supplementing, just be sure to pump every 3 hours round the clock, whether you're getting milk now or not. It'll establish your supply and hopefully she'll have no trouble nursing once she's where she belongs.
Congrats again!
