If your RE had you on Aspirin for IVF, how long did you have to continue it for?
Feb 2010 - IVF #1 BFP, miscarriage with D&C April 2010 - IVF #2 BFN June 2010 - IVF #3 BFP, Baby girl born March 2011 Oct 2011 - Natural BFP, D&C Dec Jan 2012 - back to RE

    I take baby aspirin. I am still on it at 12 weeks - I don't think I am going to stop throughout the pgncy. I take it due to MTHFR.
    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     I took it for the mthfr as well. I stopped at 12 weeks.
    Dx: MFI, DOR, 9 Fibroids and homozygous MTHFR

    I just came off it last week (36+ weeks). I guess every RE/OB is different.

    We did discuss (both RE and OB) that the studies for aspirin aren't super well supported, but they felt it didn't hurt, and may help, so may as well continue until late 3rd tri. And it is dirt cheap!

    My doctor told me to stop taking aspirin when they confirmed my BFP!
    MFI DH-diagnosed with cancer- had an unrelated bone marrow transplant 1st IVF-cancelled 2 embryos BFN 1st FET cycle started 2010- BFP Please Please Stick! Baby girl born 2011

    I stopped mine at 36 weeks as well per my OB.  Still nervous about not taking it. 

    Apparently, not only is it recommended to stop it for hemorrhage, but it can effect the closure of the heart valves when baby is born (PFO).
