I've seen you post before that you give these to Ava. Do you have a recipe? Whole milk yogurt, frozen berries? Also, Shaun drinks mostly from straw sippy cups. Will these work in those, or will he need a wider straw for chunks? Thanks!

Well, clearly I'm not Davez, but I give my kids smoothies almost every day. Frozen fruit, plain yogurt, a squirt of agave nectar or honey, and water to thin. They drink it from a straw cup and love them!

yup, about what she said. I toss all my old partially eaten nanas, brown ones, half apples, rotten peaches, lol... into the freezer, and once every couple weeks I throw them all together with some frozen berries and blend with a wand stick thing. Freeze that in batches, I use the large yogurt containers to freeze.
then once a week I thaw a container of fruit, toss in a week's worth of polysol and about 5 tbls of organic flax seed oil, a large container of plain of vanilla yogurt (Trader Joes has KILLER whole milk yo) some water or leftover juice, blend and keep in an air tight container. I did the straw cuppies for a long time, but recently switched to old yo baby containers just b/c she likes them, and I fill them all up at once and just reuse them each week.
I think you could vary this up any way you want. it takes me about 30 minutes to make 3-4 weeks worth... and since Ava's a tall skinny minny, I like that I KNOW she's getting the calories and fats in. She has a lite breakfast an hour later. (this originally started when she was going to daycare)
