March 2011 Moms

checking in... questions.

Hey ladies,

So, a couple of things... Is anyone else not tired in the morning, but can barely keep their eyes open in the afternoon/evening?

Also, I took another hpt this am, just for the heck of it, and my line showed up even darker then the control line, and RIGHT away... does that mean good things?  As in, higher hcg levels, things are progressing well?

Finally, my husband surprised me with a trip to FL this weekend for my birthday!!!!  He's so sweet!  Anyway, everything I've read says it's totally safe to fly, esp in the 1st trimester.  Has anyone done it, and do you have any advice/tips?

Thanks ladies!  Hope you are all doing well!

  • I'm exhusted ALL day!!  I don't know about your HPT meaning higher levels.  But I do know it's safe to fly in 1st tri.  Just try to move/stretch your legs as much as you can.

  • Yes- HPTs will get darker faster because of higher hormone levels.

And yes, I'm was just tired in the afternoon/night early on, but now I'm tired all day because I haven't slept for more than 4 hours since about 4.5 weeks. I don't know why, I just wake up all of the time.

  • where in fl are you going?

  • Is anyone else not tired in the morning, but can barely keep their eyes open in the afternoon/evening?   I wake up early like 5 and am awake but have m/s and then at around 11 its nap time and again at around 5 at night I hate it.

Make sure you drink TONS of water flying is dehydrating, and bring snacks on the plane,

  • This week I'm starting to be tired all the time, which is good because I've had some problems with insomnia lately.

  • Same here-insomnia and then needing naps in afternoon
  • I fly a lot, and don't feel any difference at all. Well unless my regular nausea that comes and goes would count, regardless if I am on the plane or not.
  • Going to Fort Myers... near Sanibel.   I'm not too familiar with the area...
