I have 1.5hrs left before we start bedtime and I am already planning that glass of wine. I think I'm up to 25 accidents so far. She now tells me when she has to go and is happy as we rush to the bathroom but then proceeds to scream bloody murder when I put her on the potty. A whole minute later she's peeing on the LR floor and *then* will allow me to get her on the potty.

She's also fighting me putting new undies on.

But we have caught at least 6 or 7 pees in progress and she seems very very proud and happy with herself when that happens so at least she's not anxious about that. Also, quite ironically, my living room floor and hallway are as clean as they've ever been lol.

I want to sleep so bad right now!!! I'm exhausted. I wanted to give up about 4 times already but there is no way in hellll I will have gone thru that many accidents for nothing lol.

Can anyone share positive stories to keep me going? Maybe situations similar to mine that weren't easy peasy?

Was this day 1? My day one was full of ups and downs too. I found myself getting frustrated as DS peed on our chair. And I totally agree about the clean floor part- I think mine are the cleanest they have ever been!

My H kept me sane by reminding me that this was his first day with underware on and of the high points- peeing on the potty, etc.

Day 3 today and it is so much better! He actually came to tell me he needed to go after going a little in his undies, he caught himself and stopped the flow! We went to the potty  and finished! I prolly just jinxed myself but so far we have made great strides in being potty trained. GL and I hope today goes better for you!

I don't think that I've ever said Congrats on your son Gavin! Also, your story has helped me feel like i'm not the only one, I was feeling hopeless lol
