So I love names that tend to be more ..."British" in feel (or maybe only used there even if not often). I definitely don't love them all though! I'm curious- what names do YOU think of if asked for names that are quintessentially British??
Something tells me the answers will make my afternoon more enjoyable

Re: "British" names :)
ETA: I posted a link to a 2009 list in a post below
I found this online (2007 was the most recent I could find). Personally, I tend to think of traditional names like Robert or Emma as sounding more "British")

Nicola. I have never, ever, ever met someone named Nicola who was NOT British.
Fiona used to feel British, but I've found that more Americans are using this name for their children now.
Niles for a boy still seems very British to me.

Oh, and Hamish for a boy.
Hamish is Scottish, I never met a Hamish in 3 years of living in the UK. Gemma is definitely British though.
