If you EBF, when did you get your period?

Hi there, 

If you EBF, when did you get your period?  Also, were you on the "mini pill"?  I'm on the mini pill and have been EBF since the girls were born but haven't gotten my period yet.  I absolutely love not having my period so I'm really just curious when it'll show up again.

Our girls are 6 1/2 months old, I'm on the mini pill, and also haven't had a period yet

When I was breastfeeding our 2nd, I got my first period when he was about 5 months I think... so I was assuming that I haven't had one this time around because I'm making so much more milk.

I didn't get af until I weaned ds1 at 15m. The twins get about 1/2 bm and still haven't seen that b!tch yet. Hoping to go a while longer w/o

Still no AF in sight after nearly 16 months for me. It came back within a month of my singletons sleeping thru the night (no night feeds) at 5 months and 12 months. So, this time around I'm thinking the difference is just the amount of milk I'm producing. Not sure. My twins have been sleeping thru the night for 9 months now. I'm interested to see if anyone else went this long without AF, although I can't say I'm too anxious to get it back. Oh, and I'm not on the mini pill.

i am not on the pill and i still do not have my period.

I never got mine after my first DD!  I weaned around 9-10m and ended up getting pregnant before AF returned.  They are almost exactly 18m apart.

I BF for a little over 13 months.  Once DDs were both consistently sleeping through the night, I still woke up at least once to pump (both to maintain my supply and also to be sure I had enough bottles for PT daycare).

I was on the minipill until the girls were 14 months old, then went back on Loestrin 24fe.  I forgot to take a pill one night, had (what I called) breakthrough bleeding that lasted a week and pretty heavy... and then again had a (much shorter) period after finishing the pill pack.

It was so nice to not have AF for so long!!!

I EBF, but was not on any type of birth control and got my period at around 6.5 months and on vacation! :P  I wasn't too pleased as I wasn't expecting it at ALL.

 I did start introducing solids at 6 months so I wonder if maybe it may have caused it...but who knows!

I am not on the minipill. When the girls were 5 months and again this month, I had 2 days of very light bleeding. I think it was AF but I didn't have cramps or heavy bleeding, so I really don't know what it is.

I was on the mini pill and EBF. I got my first PP period 7 months later.

4 months- no mini pill or any hormonal BC though.  I was BFing, supplementing and pumping until about 3 months and EBFing at the point when it came back.  Been back every 4-5 weeks ever since.
