I just bought a Combi Cosmo. I am not sure if I should keep it or not. I went to Buy Buy Baby to look at them since I knew they had them. I was not able to take my DS the day I went to look. I test drove the stroller and looked at some others. I was sure the Cosmo was the right choice. They didn't have any in stock, so they order it and it gets shipped to my house. I got it today.
Now that I have it together, I had DS in it and his head is just about to the top of the seat!!! How is this stroller supposed to hold a kid up to 55lbs?? Seems like DS would outgrow it way before that b/c he would be too tall. At DS' 18 mont appt. in March, he was 75% for height, so he is a little taller than average, but not all that much.
Anyone else have a Combi and is your child over 2 years old and still fits in it? Is it worth it for me to keep the stroller?? Thanks for your input.
Also, I should add that I had a Maclaren Volo and sold it and bought this stroller to replace it. The Volo was rubbing the back of my DS' legs and leaving marks. Any other lightweight/umbrella stroller suggestions are welcome, as long as they are under $130.
Re: Anyone w/ a Combi stroller??
I think the twin sports are very similar to the cosmos. They are come in the same patterns as the cosmo.
I have the Twin Sport model as well, and it works okay for us. DS1 turned 2 in March, and he still fits in it. I know what you mean though - he looks so big in it. He doesn't complain or anything though and seems comfortable. I'm not sure how long it will last us, but I'm hoping until we don't need a double stroller anymore.
This was a few months ago and you can see how big my oldest looks in it (oh and this was an evening walk before bed so ignore their pj's
).
