I just put the last of my frozen stash of BM in DD's sippy. It is a little bitter sweet. I was lucky to be able to have such a stash and DD was able to have BM for so long. I hope that when we have another child I will be so lucky again.
That's awesome. Mathis never really took a bottle so I didn't pump much with him and had nothing left when he self weaned. I wish I had a nice stash to give him in cups but he's a cow's baby now
Bin, I 100% empathize because I did the exact same thing! I BF'd Charlotte until she was 23 months (was planning to go until 24 months, but she self-weaned at 23, boo hoo), and I remember the day I used the last of my frozen BM stash (I had a sh!tload in the freezer)...I used the last bag earlier than 23 months, I want to say it was probably around 21 or 22 months, but I continued BF'ing her after that...but OMG, I think I shed a few tears that night. It was like the end of an era since I BF'd her for so long, you know?
So, yeah, you totally have my empathy.

I have issues......
I have one bag left in the freezer and I can't make myself thaw it out.
Why am I saving it? Who knows......
