REI Stroller Sales?

I heard that REI occasionally has sales on their strollers. Any ideas when this happens????  We want to get the BOB Revolution but since we have until at least November, we have some time to look for a good deal on it.

Not sure if they have sales on their strollers per se, but they have the 20% off any item a few times a year.  We bought our bob stroller then (2 months ago?)

They just had one in May and we got our double BOB on sale. I think there will probably be another one in the fall, but I'm not sure. They have at least 2 big sales a year.

I actually called my local REI last week to ask when the next sale or member coupon comes out.  The guy said they *might* be on sale 15% at their labor day sale but that a new member coupon (20% off one item if you are a member) should come out around October.

Diapers.com will not price match REI. They consider it a "membership" store even though the BOB was on sale to members and non-members. When REI had the BOB on sale two months ago I tried to buy it from Diapers.com and was told the best they would do was give me 10% off and free shipping.

OP, thanks for posting this. DH and I have patiently been waiting for the BOB Revolution to go on sale at REI too. And PP, thanks for calling REI and letting us know what they said.

Find out when your local store is having their "garage sale" clearance. You have to be a member to purchase, and you need to get there early.  I see BOBs (the Ironman and/or Revolution) everytime.  I've seen the Revolution for $200 without noticeable damage.  You can also find the cupholder too (usually that's priced at $5 at my store).

This... we got ours at a REI garage sale for $200, in perfect condition!
