Yesterday dh's grandmother got hit by a car yesterday morning while she was crossing the street. Her brain is swollen and she has blood surrounding it so she's totally incoherent. She also has some broken ribs, pelvis, and hand. We just got back last night from our trip after AA delayed our flight so we ended up getting here 6 hours late. When we got here dh turned his phone on and had 5 voice mails from trauma and to make matters worse (or more sickening I guess) we were the first family members to go see her at 10PM. She got to the hospital at 10AM. She has 3 kids that didn't bother to pick up their phone and when they finally did they decided they would go today instead, W.T.F.?!?!? Very sad. So if you could please say a little prayer for her, it would be amazing.

OMG!  Pobresita!  She must be in so much pain and to be all alone during that whole ordeal.  I will send lots of t&p's to your family so that she may recover swiftly.

OMG.. Claribel, my heart dropped into my chest reading this. Poor abuelita!! I can't even imagine what she must have been feeling all by herself at the hospital all that time. Thank GOD you and your H got the message and that she at least has you guys to look out for her. Lots of T&P for a speedy recovery and that her kids start behaving better...
