I'm in desperate need of suggestions because I don't love it. I could've (twice now) named a boy ten times over so of course I'm having another girl, lol. My DD is Abigail if that helps. Any & all suggestions welcome

Other names that I think go well with Abigail are Emily, Elisabeth, and Olivia.

I really like Lauren, I just don't LOVE it. Having said that, I felt the same way with Abigail. I just have never found a girls name that I love that also goes with our impossibly-difficult last name.

Though our top pick for a girl is Amelia. I think that also sounds good with Abigail. (Love Abigail btw!)

I know this is obviously very similar to Lauren, but have you thought of Laurel?  It's one of my favorites and it's just a slight twist on Lauren...good luck!

I like Laurel but DH threw it off the list. I threw anything ending in an 'a' or 'er' or 'ah' sound off the list so, together, we have really screwed the dang list!

We are in a very similiar situation--we have a DD named Abigail. We have a last name that begins with an O so names ending in vowels don't really work b/c they run into the last name. Also, we have a short last name so I want a longer first name.

I also love Lydia and might consider it even though it ends in A.

My favorite is Delaney (nn Laney) but DH doesn't like it.
